Cannonball

Reality is a cannonball
Crashing through your safe house
Knocking you off your fat couch
Smashing your zombie drool TV
Fucking up the entitled comfort
It rips your previous privacy apart
Not giving a fuck about your opinion
Explosive round of self examination
Privilege punks protesting privilege
Sore losers rally chapped asses
Booing and spewing but hurt blather
Meanwhile the poor sweat summer hungry
Marginalized disappear in populous prisons
Dying to blue street bloody red
Throw away communities rot away
While people rage the comments section
Blogging about gentrified hope
Progressive transplants eat organic
Expecting it to solve the problems
Until the walks come down in flames
Reality is a cannonball
