I Just Came for the Food, Thirsty Thursday Edition… Part 2

The newest addition to the Redd’s Apple Ale family is the “Limited Pick”, Blueberry Ale, a mix of both apple and blueberry flavors. Redd’s also offers a Strawberry Ale, a Green Apple Ale, and a plain Apple Ale. Plus a line of Wicked ales that up the alcohol percentage to 8%. These include Mango, and black cherry, plain apple flavors.

Anyway, back to the Blueberry Ale, it was seriously underwhelming in the flavor department. I went into hoping to find a blueberry taste similar to Red Bull‘s Blue Edition with a hint of apple, but instead, it really taste mostly like the plain Redd’s apple ale kissed by artificial blueberry flavor. I didn’t even finish my beer, and I regretted buying more than one. At Least, I didn’t purchase an entire 6 pack.

Love a lot of the different Red’s Apple Ales so disappointed to learn that Blueberry Ale isn’t that great. My favorite is Green Apple Ale.
