Free is the Best Price: YouTube Flicks

Just a quick little check in this week, here are two animated flicks from the 80s for free on YouTube: Shintaro Tsuji’s classic anime film The Sea Prince and the Fire Child and Clive A. Smith’s rock roll fantasy musical Rock & Rule. The first is family friendly, the second is not. Both are products of their time and the culture that birthed them. So, if you are interested in a Japanese fable with a Romeo & Juliet flair or more interested a Canadian animated musical about metal music, ancient rock Gods, and demons, you’re bound to find at least one fun and free film for your weekend enjoyment.

Justin has been running websites since his first Geocities site in 1994, but only did he ever start covering anything of substance years later. He writes regularly here, a bit less regularly at Cinapse, and on occasion at Cinepunx.. He previously wrote for several other sites, but he forgets some of them and others no longer exist. He likes music, film, the Philadelphia Eagles, talking about Criminal Justice, reading Intelligence Report, and his family... not in that order. His beautiful wife is far more talented than he is and his kids far more adorable... and crazy. He also likes to ramble... on... and... on... and...
