Ooh-La-La-La: Who is Lily Lambert?

British songstress Lily Lambert is part Welsh and part Irish, so folk music is in her blood. Her stripped down acoustic sound is simple, emotive, and outright beautiful. Her latest album, Wherever You Go, released last month and is getting a ton of buzz. The track “Ooh-La-La-La” is below. Check it out!

Lily has been getting critical acclaim for years… she got the IMEA awards for Folk Album of the Year in 2014, Folk Artist of the Year in 2015, and Folk Song of the Year in 2016. More than critical acclaim, though, her fans rave about her – both as a musician and as a person. Like her previous albums and her work in several Off Broadway productions, the new album is overflowing with hope and positivity, just like her.

The new album is available on Amazon in both CD and MP3 formats and can also be downloaded on iTunes. Fans of folk music, acoustic indie rock, and female singer-songwriters with beautiful songbird voices, check out Wherever You Go today.

Justin has been running websites since his first Geocities site in 1994, but only did he ever start covering anything of substance years later. After he stopped regularly running local concerts in Northern NJ and the greater Philly area, he knew he needed to step up his writing game if he expected to continue to get free music to listen to. He writes regularly here and at Cinapse, as well as contributing to a few other sites on occasion. He likes music, film, the Philadelphia Eagles, the 76ers, talking about Criminal Justice, reading Intelligence Report, and his family... not in that order. His beautiful wife is far more talented than he is and his kids far more adorable... and crazy.
