Nelly’s Nostalgic Magnetism Entrances Bethlehem

On August 6th, Nelly’s concert at Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA gave some nostalgia that brought the crowd back to the early 2000s with his high-energy performance. The majority of the audience was locked into every song that he performed. His hits “Ride Wit Me,” “Country Grammar,” and “Dilemma” had everyone on their feet singing the songs word for word. Nelly had a strong stage presence as well, creating a great, fun atmosphere for the crowd. Seating was easily accessible and straightforward. They also had areas to sell Nelly merchandise that was a hit for a lot of individuals.

One highlight of the concert was a guest feature from his half-brother City Spud who joined him on stage. They had good stage chemistry which was told from the crowd reaction. The technical side of the show was also spot on- the audio wasn’t too quiet or too loud, it was balanced and never overpowering. The videography throughout the concert was great, it followed Nelly, his guests, and dancers the entire time in good light. The backup dancers performed phenomenally and were eye candy to watch.

Overall, it was a memorable experience that had no shortfalls and was a throwback in time for a lot of the crowd.
