Pottstown, PA – The 4th annual Skate or Die Film Fest kicks off on month from today on October 3rd at the historic Ringing Rocks Roller Rink. This year’s festival follows our 2-day format including feature films and short films from all over the globe, live music, delicious food and drink, tattoos, and – of course – a lot of roller skating.

With special thanks to our friends and sponsors, Lehigh Valley Apparel CreationsHigh Voltage Barber Shop, Harmony Wealth Management, brookiellen designs, Leave a Pretty Corpse Athletic, Fun Dungeon, and Rockstar Roller Derby, we are excited for an amazing program with the return of our fan favorite film blocks, live music of all shapes and sizes, delicious food trucks, adult and non-adult beverages, skating, tattoos, and so much more.

Friday features 5 musical acts and a screening of Canadian horror-comedy-musical Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter, hosted by Kyle and Matt of Horror Movie Night Podcast, as well as music videos, giveaways, and fun surprises. The live music will be provided by Cash Hendrix, The Rectors, The Baconfruit, Italian Blood, and Shade Out.

Saturday is packed with films, featuring our 3 fan favorite film blocks – the always awesome local block, the PRIDE block hosted by our favorite local drag queen Roigy Bev, and the whiplash inducing WTF block. There is also a new unique skating meets movies event that’ll be sure to please both movie buffs and folks looking for more skate time on the rink – the Kaiju Skate Party featuring the classic Gamera film in a special SpaceBrains3D presentation.

Ink is being slung all day Saturday by Atom Lenhart and Al the Tattooer! They both will be tattooing from specially designed and priced flash sheets that we’ll be sharing on this page and our socials as the event nears.

The event is a perfect way to get an early start to your spooky season with a weekend of genre fare October 3rd and 4th.

Tickets are on sale now, so click here and grab them. Then pop back over here on The Farsighted’s Skate or Die website and over at The Farsighted’s Instagram page! We’ll be dropping the full lineup and schedule, some cool spotlights on our friends and sponsors, an official playlist, food truck info, and more surprises over the next couple weeks!
