Sometimes making friends with independent film makers and film companies on social media can be a great experience. I’ve been able to meet and talk to a few about our shared love of horror or low budget film making. One of my closest and dearest friends is Zelda Muller who directed the gothic giallo 13 Dolls in Darkness. I was one of the lucky few who was asked by her to preview the completed film before it was sent off to various film festivals all over the world and give her an honest assessment of it in which I did. First and for most this is a silent film shot in black white complete with music, place cards and the sound of an old fashioned movie projector to give this film it’s old school feel. The murders are brutal and gory even in black and white.
I don’t want to say much more in risk of spoiling it but be on the look out for it when you want to try something different.
