Along with his wife Maria Giambanco Diaz, DJ Charlie Dee Diaz blends world music, tribal percussion, and a South Florida Cubano flair, all the while remaining true to his NYC origins in the Bronx. The result is a singular sound that both falls into the afro-house subgenre, while also having a unique sound all its own.
“Afro-Acid” is a tour de force track that’s impossible to remain still while listening to. Whichever mix of the track you find yourself gravitating towards, all three are perfect ways to spend a few minutes on the dance floor – whether that floor is out at the club or in your living room.
