Curtain Jerkers, Episode 36: CM Punk BITES in Ryan Prows’s New Action Horror NIGHT PATROL

One this episode, Justin and Doug are joined by badass genre filmmaker Ryan Prows, whose new action horror gem is easily going to be one of the best genre films of 2026. Starring a stellar cast that ranges from horror darling Justin Long to hip hop royalty Freddie Gibbs and everywhere in between, today we focus on Phil Brooks – known to most of you as CM Punk.
Punk’s performance as a racist vampire cop is certain to turn some heads, as he embodies a different role than he ever has before. In fact, this film – now playing in theaters nationwide and coming soon internationally – features many fantastic performances, including Justin Long playing against type as well.
Along with the film, Ryan sticks around to chat about 3 of Punk’s matches, including one chosen by Punk himself.
The recording quality is a bit lesser than our normal due to some recording issues, but it’s still easy to listen to and Ryan, the most important person here (obviously), is crystal clear.
