Dread’s BLACK SITE Hits that Action Horror Sweet Spot

Described by Dread Central’s Jonathan Barkan as “John Carpenter Meets H.P. Lovecraft Meets The Raid”, the Epic Pictures Dread imprint presents the action/sci-fi/horror hybrid movie Black Site, directed and written by Tom Paton. The film tells the story of an elite military unit assigned to protect Earth from “The Elder Gods” by fighting a team from another dimension. The main focus is on Danforth, who must fight against her mental trauma in order to survive this onslaught.

This film has been compared to John Carpenter’s Assault on Precinct 13 as far as style goes and it’s nor hard to see why. The humor in the script is on point and the action will draw in any action fans out there.

Kudos to Dread for releasing this to the masses out there, so if you see this playing on any platform you owe yourself to watch this. Trust me, you will be thanking me later for the recommendation for this very fun and awesome film.

Rumor has it that Mr. Paton will turn this into a series of movies and build the Elder God world by his own hands and if this feature is a sampling of what he has to offer, then count me in!
