It’s SFI’s FIRST PENETRATION, But It Surely Won’t Be their Last
It should probably go without saying that a group called Skull Fuckers Incorporated isn’t for everyone. However, when your promo photo includes a lead guitarist with a Tranformers guitar and you have a new music video featuring Tom Arnold, Beefcake the Mighty of GWAR, Norm from Cheers (George Wendt), brilliant comedian Brian Posehn, Dee Snider, and other such goofballs – it’s not difficult to realize the name and subject matter are a wee bit tongue in cheek. Moreover, the new album – First Penetration – is a concept album, detailign the fight against skull fuckers worldwide (horror fans know just how dangerous these folks are from their appearances in Found, Headless, and Header)… so it’s actually rather wholesome, right? I mean no one wants those fuckers to get their way, do they?
Skullfucker Jay (Jay Reiter) and his gang of metalhead maniacs unleashed the album upon an unsuspecting populace in May and with it, the aforementioned music video for “Nightmare”. A metal track with tinges of industrial and punk influence that will get fans of bands like Motorhead, classic metalheads, and thrashers all banging their heads in unison. As catchy as it is hard, “Nightmare” is a stellar jump off point for what to expect from the album of 9 originals and 3 fantastic covers – of which, my personal favorite is the great rendition of White Zombie’s “More Human Than a Human”.
