CAGEMATCH, Episode 9: Nic and Raven Coloring Out of Space
We’re back… and as per usual, we’re woefully and wonderfully inconsistent. That’s kinda our thing…
Is Nicolas Cage a legitimate acting genius?
An utter piece of silver screen trash?
Or somewhere in between?
This was our “spooky season” episode, even if it is out a week or so after Halloween… so we decided to cover a horror film. Who better to tackle the spooy than our good friend Raven?
On this episode, we ramble about the douchebaggery of Lovecraft and Richard Stanley, bring back the Cage-O-Meter (no matter how we decide that’s supposed to be pronounced), and ramble some more. Arriving at a 3ish on the Cage-O-Meter, we didn’t hate this movie but couldn’t stay in love with it… as Justin noted, you just can’t get away from the Richard Stanley of it all.
But alas, we had fun and we hope you enjoy listening and hanging out with us!
