Curtain Jerkers, Episode 22: Spooky Season Special – Talking Brodie Lee with Ted G

Before we dive into the episode, have you seen our badass logo? Awesome designer Trais Colton Barhaug rocked that for us and you should go support him now! T-shirts, pins, and stickers are on their way.

Thanks to Justin’s long time friend, Kwalified, a diehard wrestling fan and dope emcee hailing from Hawaii, for our great intro song.

This month, the Jerks had a special guest, filmmaker Ted Geoghehan. He joined us to talk about working with the late great Job Huber – who many of you may know as Brodie Lee or Luke Harper. Huber was a featured player in Ted’s 2017 film Mohawk… and by all accounts, seems to have been the sweetest, coolest dude ever.

On this episode, Doug and Justin chat about 3 of Huber’s matches and then dive into the film with Ted. Justin’s mic situation in this one wasn’t great, but Ted and Doug sound great and they are the main reason you’re here anyway, right? It’s a great episode, even if you ignore Justin completely… maybe even better than way, honestly.

If you wanna prep before listening, you can check out Mohawk free on Tubi or Plex now. The film isn’t a straight horror film, per se, but has more than enough gore and scares to satiate the fiends and gorehounds among us all.

And make sure to check out Ted on X/Twitter and Instagram, as well as supporting his new one – Brooklyn 45now on Shudder!

You can’t follow Doug on Twitter anymore… but check out his other podcasts, Cinema Smorgasbord and No-Budget Nightmares
