I Just Came for the Food: Reese’s Pieces Peanut Butter Cups
This week is the triumphant return of I Just Came for the Food!
I’m reviewing the Hershey Company’s new twist on two old favorites: Reese’s Pieces and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. It’s exactly what it sounds like-lots of Reese’s Pieces stuffed inside the peanut butter center of a Reese’s cup, and it won Best in Show (Most Innovative New Product) at this year’s Sweets and Snacks Expo.
As far as taste goes, it basically tastes just like a normal Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups – just a little sweeter (in a good way) and a LOT crunchier (also in a good way). Now these are not slated to actually come out in until mid-July of this year, but I got to test them out a smidge early. The regular size should cost about $1.29 with the king size to be priced around $1.99.
