I have the honor of reviewing the latest Cloverfield movie that was released on Netflix but will be hitting the Blu Ray shelves in February 2019. As a refresher I re watched Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane before watching The Cloverfield Paradox just so I could see any connection between the films and lo and behold, I found there was very little connection or maybe I didn’t watch them in the right order. And emailing JJ Abrams didn’t help. Never the less, I happen to enjoy The Cloverfield Paradox a lot more than I thought I would.

True, it is mostly set in space and deals with a motley crew trying to solve the problem of saving the Earth’s people by sending a few of them into orbit to work on a project that could save the planet but at a great price because hell breaks loose on the ship after a successful test run. The Blu-ray of this film delivers a crisp clear picture and wonderful sound (better than watching it on Netflix in my viewpoint) plus 25 minutes of extras that helps put the film in it’s proper context and you will have a night of enjoyment for one and all who love these movies as much as I do and there is great rewatchabilty to catch things you may have missed the first time around.

If you own the first two in the Cloverfield series then Paradox will be a wonderful addition to your home library. Get yours today!
