The first single from her forthcoming album, Savanna, “Siren” is a thoughtful ballad about being pulled into the storm by a siren song in order to rediscover who you are. Resurrection Fern sings,

Maybe a storm is what it takes, to make me free.

And a strong message that is for all of us. In order to truly set ourselves free, it often takes something big and challenging. But, when we weather the storm, we can come out stronger and more focused. Resurrection Fern knows this and her song is fuel for all of us to push through the tempest life throws at us. Uplifting message, sweet melody, and a great DIY music video, it’s hard not to let this song pentrate your soul.
